What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address and password (stored as a secure hash; we never see it).
• Study profile — the test, target score, destination country, intake and test date you tell us, plus an optional phone/WhatsApp number.
• Your practice writing — the answers you submit, and the scores and feedback generated for them.
• Basic usage data — such as which campaign or link brought you to the site (UTM tags), used to understand what marketing works.

How we use it

• To grade your writing and show your progress. Your practice answers are sent to an AI provider (currently DeepSeek) for scoring; they are processed to generate your feedback.
• To personalise your dashboard and recommended tasks.
• Only if you opt in, to contact you with study tips, deadlines and — where relevant — admissions and visa guidance from Borders & Bridges. You can turn this off any time in Account, or by telling us.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal data.
• We don't contact you for marketing without your consent.
• We don't use your essays to train our own AI models.

Storage and security

Your data is stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) on servers protected by industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access inside our team is limited to what is needed to run the service and, where you have consented, to advise you.

Your choices

• You can update your study profile and consent preference in your Account.
• You can ask us to export or permanently delete your account and data — contact us and we'll do it.
